I can't speak for everyone, obviously, but I think a few fans are kind of skeeved out by how Manuela has been doing things in Prince's name like plans to build a school with his name slapped on it and yes, having her current husband step in to try to fill the boots during performances related to Prince's music. As a married woman myself, I would hold serious reservations about having my husband step in to perform an ex's music for public performance. Actually, I see my husband looking at me like, "ummm, are you out of your mind? " In the real world, a lot of folks can't quite quite gel with this on the marital principle of "Leave and Cleave" : Your spouse is the one you're focused on in marriage, not the ghosts of husbands past.

Like I said earlier, Brown Mark and a lot of other fans (many here who have expressed they didn't know anything either) have looked into all that tabloid stuff with Prince's relationships. I'm a HUGE Prince fan, I study it all like a college course, but I knew nothing of those allegations or what really happened etc and I never really cared. I doubt Brown Mark sits around digging into that stuff about Prince.
