Exactly. But for whatever reason I thought we were all old enough here that this didn't need to be spelled out and my comment was easily understood. Seems like I always expect more in terms of understanding when I shouldn't
I hate saying but lower your expectations. For some reason Saint Mayte is beyond critism |

Guess we're gonna see about that once the book is released. There's already negative stuff out there about it. Here too.

She does have her share of flaws and I have spoken about it multiple times. Yet, in this situation however, I say Apples is in the wrong. Posting for the purpose of bashing and starting that battle (which did not bring her far by the way) only discredited her in the eyes of many. This is my normal life. I agree that people technically do have the right to do and say and post whatever they want on their social media page/s, but I wish people (especially hopefully mature adults who have evolved and learned tact, common sense and class) would be more judicious and have a filter before they post any old thought or opinion that they have to know is only going to result in needless negativity that will ultimately accomplish nothing. Yes we all have a right to voice our opinion but sheesh does no one use any responsibility anymore when using that right? A family member of mine would post THE MOST personal information about other family members, or post deliberately hurtful or just cruel and potstirring stuff on her public online blog and when the targets of her writings (often close family members) would react and be very hurt or angry, thsi person would toss out "Well, it's MY blog and I can say what I want on it!" Can't argue against the truth of that but it's still shitty behavior. :-/ That's the kind of scenario I'm so tired of these days. Just because you CAN say or post something, doesn't necessarily mean it's the right thing to do or the decent thing to do. Just my thoughts. [Edited 3/28/17 13:07pm] |

I'm not one to put personal info out there in social media so I also get what you are saying. However, it may not look like the right or decent thing to do to onlookers, but it clearly isn't the poster's opinion and whatever they've got to say, they want to be heard, and they want to be heard publicly. At least they are owning their words and not broadcasting anonymously.

Criticism of Mayte's book is met with the same standard response...it's her story and she has the right to tell it (even though Prince is not alive to dispute anything that is not accurate or is an invasion of privacy). There seems to be a double standard at play here.

No, Apolonia Negri was allegedly the fiance of Rudolph Valentino when he died. Natacha and Rudy were divorced and Pola came in the picture. It is a really long story but there are parallels with how people act now with Prince and how they acted then with Rudy. Here, I am specifically addressing Appolonia and not Mayte. You would need to research the whole amazing story of Valentino and then draw your own parallels. ~honey is b-ing 1 with the 1~ |

Actually, Vanity is gone, so she is not stirring any pot. But apples does of a history at throwing shade.
Well . . . Apples did not grab the spoon and start the stirring.
People forget every action causes a reaction. Wise people weigh pros and cons before doing anything because of the rippling effect it will have somewhere. It is how the universe works.
If Apples wants to speak about Vanity she can; if people don't like it -they can not like it.
Vanity is gone but hopefully never forgotten. Apples went to the funeral of Vanity. Apples can say what she wants and feel how she feels. She is not throwing anyone under the bus or causing people to slander anyone's name.
Pot meet kettle is what this sems like to me. |

Apples has kicked it up a notch today, posting a pic of Maunela on Instagram and heaping praise on her. She talks about how Manuela is part of the Purple Rain Family, and how others have tried to ride the coat tails of said family. Oh, and she refers to Manuels as The Beautiful One. The shade of it all! 2 sevens together |

Interesting, since Mayte threw shade at Mani in the book. Also interesting, that Apples will hold up for Mani, who had an affair with a married man and broke a marriage apart. Apples is beginning to show her true self.
Also, Mani cheated on Prince. Mani actually hurt someone who Apple claims to call friend, but Apple's is okay...with all of that. [Edited 4/4/17 6:29am] |

I am not sure why she riding with Maunela then Mayte. Not into Maunela like that but she did break anything apart. The marriage was on the rocks long before Mani came into the picture. |

Mani is a part of "our purple family", says Apples. Funny how this woman not only feels she is a part of it but also feels the neeed to insinuate Mayte isn't.
This makes them look bad. Bickering. My first thought is that some are jealous of the relationship Prince had with Mayte. But then again, they know stuff we don't, so there. |
