Like any other relationship, Prince and Sheila E. faced numerous ups and downs over the years. But as time passed, they began to grow apart due to creative differences and the many other females he entertained on the regular. Then, she said Prince ultimately did something that changed everything. Despite their romantic relationship, Prince reportedly had no reservations about reminding Sheila who the boss was. In fact, there was one incident where Sheila finally had enough.

In her memoir, she revealed Prince refused to let her fly to her grandmother’s funeral, citing tour obligations. “He was my boss, he reminded me. He signed the paychecks,” she wrote. Shortly after, Sheila and Prince finally went their separate ways.

I will admit that's pretty cold about her Grandmother's funeral. Prince wasn't a saint. I heard they had a falling out on the W2A tour in San Jose when Sheila E's family was supposed to open for Prince and he bumped them for Larry Graham.

Once I got on the plane, I was like..."Oh Lord...I need to call Prince or @MorrisHayes ...or somebody & tell them I won't be at rehearsal today & I'm leaving NYC to go be with my Daddy". I hadn't gotten permission to just BOUNCE or Anything....

I left a message at P's hotel...& hoped for the best. Right before I had to cut off my phone for take off...it rings...& It's my brother Prince <3 He had gotten my message & he could hear the fear & panic in my voice. Before I could even start explaining & talking he said.."Shelby, I know what's going on...Go Be with Your Father, your Family needs U Right Now and U need them" <3 He didn't mention rehearsals, Music, or ANYTHING!! His ONLY concern was that I get home asap, that I called him when I got there & if I need ANYTHING AT ALL...HE HAD ME! <3 That's Luv.

I don't care what anyone as say that fact that he stated friends with so many of his lady friends tells you a lot about him.

But it is does not appear they were getting anymore money out of him some went to be married like Elisa. My point is if he was an ass to these women they would not have wanted to stay friends with him and they would be trashing him right now.

No, they were not romantic/sexual. Cat admitted that herself. She also said, because of this time period Sheila E was very jealous, and would treated her weird at times. I believe the floor band interaction Cat had with Prince had a lot to do with it. Sheila E used to have that to a degree like on the PR & Parade shows, but once she decided to just be the drummer, she didn't have that anymore.

Now bringing her up did gauge my memory of another. Devin Devasquez, Cat was friends with who was an on/off playmate 2 Prince. Even though she said she had a 'secret 6 month relationship' in 1985, they continued to be friends. She was @ the party at Princes house were Cat met Prince, (Miles Davis, Eric Leeds, John Nelson etc) were there. I think she started dating 'the Father' after Prince.

Yes, in a way his first official dancer(female) but he did have dancers before... (Wally Gregory Jerome) he fired Jerome for working with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, and then came into contact with Cat.

But in an unofficial way he had dancers during the Parade era (Kiss video:Monique Manning and in the UTCM movie and Girls & Boys video:Alexa Fioroni )
