Judith Hill - Luckiest ever? She was first known as MJ's first lead background for This Is It. She toured with Stevie Wonder. She recorded with Prince. How lucky is this young lady to have worked with, to me, the three most influentious, prolific and talented black artists of the last forty years. It just seems strange to me that Stevie worked with MJ and Prince, Judith worked with both, but we couldn't get MJ and Prince. Well, at least we have paralleles.

She's either really lucky or really unlucky, depending on how you look at it. Yeah, she's lucky to have worked with these legends but in the case of MJ and Prince, she was kind of unlucky. She was due to have a part in the This Is It shows but MJ died before performing even one concert so she might have felt that a huge opportunity for her to be noticed on a world stage had passed her by. Similar story with Prince. Yeah, she recorded an album but had yet to take off at the time of Prince’s death. So again, another big opportunity missed. Come to think of it, she worked with both MJ and Prince around the time of their unexpected deaths... I hope she never works with Bruce Springsteen!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, Em... She worked with two of the greatest superstars, two musical mentors and both of them died... I can't imagine how that must make her feel... And I'm listening to Beautiful Life as I write this... I love the Back In Time album.

Hopefully when the dust settles a little bit she will have another chance to reach an audience her talent deserves.

How is she the luckiest ever? She worked with three of music's biggest names - and she's no farther along in her career than if she hadn't. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

So true...plus both MJ and Prince were being sued by Sony which is the label Judith was signed to.
