I don't know why we expect more from these celebs than we do from ourselves, cause reading some of their tweets is no different than reading some of the tweets from this site and many others. Only difference is, they knew him personally.

Yet, when one decides to publish on social media, they have to expect retribution. Sheila E is a public figure and has fans who will speak up about anything said against her. The rest of us, we are blessed with remaining someone who can tweet our mind away without anyone caring.

Some of us with an ordinary routine care less about people's opinion, public figures however should be more vigilant if their career is based off reputation. Unless one achieves the level of Prince's fame when they can just do as pleased whether people like it or not.

I don't think it is just in reference to that comment made 30 years ago. Her attitude post Prince's crossing testifies differently. She called herself a "widow", then wrote a story about meeting with Prince which has yet to be confirmed, stirred up drama by criticizing Mayte's memoir and SheilaE's T.shirts sale, promoting Manuela's charity in comparison....I think she is frustrated because other than her terrible acting skills in Purple Rain, she is in the total shade.

I saw it before he eventually pulled all streaming video/audio. I don't think she will ever reveal what they fully talked about. However, more recently she has mentioned having proof in a bank vault that Prince was planning an A6 reunion, more movies, and the release of his and also her memoirs. Apparently he was instructing her on all plans and that all proof is in her bank vault.

Sigh, she was in Minneapolis in the summer of 2014. He did a show for her and it was even mentioned on this board and social media. We do not know what they talked about but she was there. Also a few people even the Mayor of Channahsen have said the instructions for turning Paisly into a museusm were sent out to many of his associates and blue prints and plans were left out.

We know he signed a contract to write a book and was working some deal with Netflix. I think her point was that he was not planning on dying as he had plans and other people have said the exact same thing. I do not think Prince was strung out on these pills as people are making it out to be.

I was at this event and it certainly seemed like Prince was fine with her at that time. Although I am no insider. But she was hanging out in their VIP area.

It annoys me to hear some people act like he deliberately took his own life just to go be with Vanity in heaven, gimmie a break!! It is just a very sad coincidence that they both passed within a couple of months from each other and no one is doubting how they cared for each other, however he was in extreme physical pain also, and we did not know the extent of it until he passed. Anyways, I find it dissapointing that Apples is acting like this. No need for all of this shade and drama that she is apparently doing because it solves nothing.

To be clear I don't think Prince intentionally took his life so he could be with Vanity. I do think however God has reasons for everything and there's a reason he called Prince when he did.

I honestly think too much has been made of this jubilant Judas comment. I took it to mean a generalized description of the kind of company he was keeping towards the end. People who want to be around a celebrity, they want a piece of the pie but didnt really care about Prince the person. Whether that's business associates, girlfriends, staff, or band members. Of course it could also have been fabricated by Apple's too. She (like some other early associates) seem to want us to believe they were his only true friends and no one came close post 80s

By the way, Prince was VERY smart. He KNEW who was real and he knew human nature. Some of the things he said to Mayte were way beyond wise for someone his age back then.

He knew who loved him or respected him and he knew who was around for the ride. Sometimes I think he didn't mind the latter either.

At this point in time, I am afraid any claim regarding his personal life made by any associates will have to be trusted or verified. This is why I am not interested in reading any book about him even if I appreciate the musical talent of given author. The only book I will read is the memoir he wrote himself.

I agree he was a grown man making his own decisions so the hatred towards anyone who had a negative impact on his life should be balanced in my opinion.

If true, I think Prince may have been referring to Sheila E as a "Jubilant Judas." Her book was published September 2014 and alleged that the two had a romantic affair and that he proposed to her. The Judas comment was allegedly made to Apollonia in June 2014 (prior to book release). IJS.
