I too find some type of comfort knowing he is with Denise Matthews. These two were special together. Two individual born to take the stage and impress us with their talent. Their crossing within a few months apart is very significative in my eyes. God wanted them together, so I think.

Because orgers like you and me like to know what is related to Prince whether we like or dislike an associate The negative drama brings up their popularity. Maybe that is the intent.

That's what I'm wondering. The twitter handle is weird. I don't know who it is or what exactly they were trying to convey in that tweet...or why Sheila chose to respond to it. I always did think it was odd though that Apples, Jill and Susan attended one of Prince's Oakland shows (and I believe attended Vanity's funeral) but Sheila was nowhere to be found. And then when Prince died she was one of the first people at Paisley Park even though from what we know she and Prince hadn't been that close in the last 4 years or so . These dynamics just fascinate me.

Sheila had a prior commitment out of the country.

Couldn't make sense of it at first (lol!) but after a few reads it seems this person is stating that Apple's attitude towards Vanity changed after she died. This would imply that there was no love lost between the two while she was alive. They seem to also be implying that Apple's thinks Sheilas memoir is BS, I'd bet especially the part about the engagement. Why Sheila would retweet this from a random person unless it's legit or there's a feud going on is a bit baffling.

Apples has pulled this drama in multiple occasions. There is indeed a lot of jealousy regarding the success of SheilaE and Mayte compared to hers.

Apples needs to move on and not live in the past. Her time is long gone. She is no longer young, hot, and attractive. She actually looks rather creepy in some of her new pictures by trying to patch things up instead of aging beautifully. She could never put two steps together or dance on the beat for that matter as opposed to talented Sheila E and great dancer Mayte, so why even trying to give her attention.

Well one could also question Sheila E. rushing to Paisley Park the minute Prince passed even though they had been on the outs the past 4 years or or so. And covering her drum kit and selling t-shirts with the love symbol (plus getting a tattoo of it on her arm). Her BET tribute was great but she never publicly acknowledged the Rev shows at First Ave, couldn't put aside whatever differences she had with the estate or organizers to be part of the official tribute concert. I don't think Sheila is all that innocent either.

I agree with Purple one above. I give credit to Sheila E for her musical talent although there is a strong likelihood she is an opportunist. I also think Mayte can move very well although I also think her memoir is a bad idea. I don't give credit for Apples for her poor artistic skills however and now wanting to get in the spotlight by spreading negativity because she has nothing else many of us would be interested in.

I really do not understand why people do not realize that living life changes people; I am under the impression that they all were 20 something back in the 80s and over the years grew up and began to appreciate one another.

It is all good.

Denise is gone and she was loving her Jesus and preaching. Apples , Jill, Susan and Brenda , Jamie and the others who attended the funeral paid honor to Denise. I am not going to question that- it was a special moment that they showed up.

The first tweet definitely did. She posted it on her FB page with a picture of Manuela in Malawi.

One tweet or another, she is behaving like a teenage drama girl who seeks attention.
