Unfortunately I won't be able to take part......having day surgery Laparoscopy is a bitch! I will just have to watch it afterwards, as part of my recovery.....The Last Dragon that is in honor of Denise/Vanity

Thanks, I had this procedure done back in 2009 (and I ended up missing my workplace's X-Mas Party) so I know what to expect.......but I'm not looking forward to it that's for sure.

TOB, Just a suggestion. She could always become a member to chat with us and if she decides that she doesn't want to stay a member, she always has the option to delete her account anytime she wants. I would love to speak with her in whatever way she chooses. Please thank her for even considering to join in this fan based tribute to Denise.

Though I haven't spoken to her about the movie night since my last response,

I honestly wouldn't commit her to being anywhere or doing anything thing today.

I told her about it because I knew why she called and sensed where the conversation was going; stating her fear of this approaching date.

She needed a distraction... I needed to distract her... I just can't go there right now... Were my many thoughts as I tried to complete the immediate task at hand when she called.

Sisters, born in the same year (1959), they were very close, and they acted and sounded so much alike... DeBorah is the only one who can push that emotional (overwhelming) button and she knows it because I also do it to her. So sometimes we go out of our way to avoid a mood or tone when we speak about Denise. The idea of avoiding or not talking about Denise would be impossible; cruel, actually.

We are both very grateful for the genuine affection, interest and curiosity in Denise.

What I'll do is this... I'll see about her and I doing a private interview and or setting up a group call on some website like "Blogtalkradio" or "Talkshoe" for those who have shown an interest.

I'm ok.......but sore (even though it was keyhole surgery) and can't do any heavy lifting etc for a while......but the good news is that my Endometriosis hasn't spread......it just keeps coming back I watched Action Jackson, The Last Dragon and Vanity 6 Live (Homecoming) as my tribute to Vanity when I got home.

Thank God about the Endometriosis not spreading. That is great news! I'm continuing my tribute to her this weekend as Wednesday was a week day, so I had to get up early for work. I was only able to watch Action Jackson. Tonight I'm listening to Prince's tribute to her and watch the Last Dragon. Tomorrow I'll listen to some of her sermons and I'll Watch Purple Rain and Pretend she's the leading lady. Lol, (No offense to Apples She would have been my second pick if it wasn't for Vanity...) I'm glad Goddess is doing better! Luv, that's why I read that Dreams script by Blinn since it still has vanity's name in it. I've read the entire thing at least 4 times so far. Lol.
