. From what I saw of the ad, Van Jones' words were part of a previously-recorded interview/video.

--If they were not honest with Andre they were probaly dishonest with everyone. I hate this type of stuff because many of the associated have said they have been misquoted and will not speak to the media at all. It makes it easy for the media to control the narrative. | |

There is a contradiction ...were they really not aware it was going to be a tv show about Princes death? I agree when she said his death should not be a tv show and also agree it was not his time and should not have happened. Was Van involved in this one too? If so why is he re telling media lies. This is not keeping Princes legacy alive, this is just more drama not needed. | |

Pretty sure Van was...he's always up on CNN/HLN, ALWAYS. He even has a show(can't remember the name of it offhand). As far as the Prince "documentary"show airing on 2/10, I will be watching regardless, but can't fathom what more can be uncovered in reference to P's death, being that here on the org we have went in circles for 10 months and still don't have THE TRUTH! Sure we know the what the ME report states, but we want THE TRUTH! | |

I'm not saying she "lied"...iirc, she didn't state that she knew the title of the documentary one way or the other and was supposedly was floored, assuming it would be in regrds to P's legacy and not ultimately circling around his death, instead....which, in turn lead me to wonder if the title was revealed to her and Andre' or not. It looks like the CNN/HLN program will not be really that impactful. From this blog, the show leaves us with more questions than answers. Also, to Mrs. Anderson's comments, the show seems like it's 2 different documentaries and the program is trying hard to make a connection to his childhood and his death 37 years later. I'm still watching. I'm not getting it'll be a tabloid show, just that it'll be rehashed stuff with no new news. Which I guess that's okay since it may be in conjunction with the Grammy's and everything else that's going on. Just enough info for the casual observer. | |
