Didn't make me teary eyed. It made me happy. Prince's music always makes me happy (except TRC - that shit pisses me off - LOL).

What's most interesting there is seeing folks out of their Prince-garb. Just to see folks being them, without the funky ass clothing is very cool. It brings them down to earth. It's cool to see the NPG Hornz back in there (although didn't Brian Gallagher pass away?)

Also interesting to see a white cloud behind Sonny. Now, there was a cloud bass that Sonny played in the "My Name is Prince" video, which actually dates back to 1979. Prince bought the bass at Andre's request, when Andre found it and fell in love with its sound. The same bass can be seen in the band version video for "I Wanna Be Your Lover", and "Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad" video. But, the white guitar looks like a regular 6-string, not a bass. The flourish on top (on bottom since Sonny is left-handed) is closer to the body on the regular guitar. On the bass, it has a bit more space between itself and the body. Plus I've never seen a white cloud bass in the band. So I'm assuming it's a regular cloud guitar. I don't know if Sonny is playing a solo with it at times or not. I seem to remember him playing regular guitar (a black cloud) on the Today Show when they did "Dinner with Delores".

I don't usually judge or note people gaining weight or whatever, but Levi's fat! Cabbage head. Who's the other guitar player that was talking to him? It was a quick glance and I couldn't tell. Was it Kip?

Also noted - surprised to see Kip Blackshire there.

But I would love if the NPG focused on songs mostly from the NPG period, there are a lot of them to choose from, some stuff that would be cool to hear live
