Shelby was one of my favorite singers that Prince worked with, and a beautiful, positive spirit, as well. I'm looking forward to her upcoming album.

It is my belief that Prince and Andy were involved in a full-fledged relationship. That has nothing to do with whom he might have "banged" over the duration of his career. And, to answer your question, yes, women can be sexist.

You're stating the obvious about the purpose of rehearsing. My point is this: Shelby J was not freestyling on Prince's stage. EVERYTHING was tightly rehearsed and orchestrated. So, if anyone has problems with Shelby's role in Prince's act, that was all P's doing.

Yes, Cat was the choreographer for those tours, but it's highly unlikely that she debuted new ideas during shows. Again, that was done in rehearsal. Same thing with Shelby. If she said "how about I do this in the show..." to Prince, you can bet she would have done that in rehearsal. Period.

Ah Shelby was a good hype(wo)man live, I thought she was good. I have to admit I wasn't a fan when she was given a few ballads to sing live and P was backstage playing ping pong or whatever but those big ballads just aren't my kind of music, she certainly has lungs.

Ten years ago, our beloved Prince chose Shelby J. to perform at the legendary Super Bowl halftime show.

Prince absolutely loved Shelby J. and so do many others.
