Check out former Prince bassist MonoNeon's new EP. I swear this guy has the funkiest grooves up his sleeve. The first track It's Looovvveee reminds so much of Prince. It breaks my heart that Prince and Mono never got the chance to really explore together. I feel like Prince met his musical soul mate. You could tell Prince had tremendous respect because he allowed Mononeon to dress in his colorful style with sock on bass while performing. I dont think he would've let any musician in his band do that before. I just hope we get to hear that album they both worked on sometime in the future. Also, the last minute of Sally Needs a Daddy is the hardest, funkiest bit of music I've heard in years.

I would have loved to see and hear that last band Prince had, especially with MonoNeon on the bass and Kirk on the drums.

Prince kept us curious about his next project until the very end.
