Saw the Purple Rain Tour in Buffalo NY, and BOTH Bands were CRACKIN'!!!! And it was AWESOME how They all got on Stage at the end & jammed!!! Kind of a nod 2 those classic Funk Shows when everyone got on Stage together!!! The ONLY thing missing from this Tour was The Time (which woulda been the 1st incarnation of "Part-Time", but Morris & Jesse were gone) & Apollonia 6.......

One thing Prince & the revolution had over Sheila E and band was time exhibiting purple music.
Prince & the Revolution performed it like a private party on stage, Sheila E had more 'sing, sing it' join along expressions. I love both of them.
