Okay - with Janelle Monae's new movie coming out I've been seeing her a lot on the Today show as they do interviews leading up to this movie - which got me thinking about interviews with Prince Protege's the day he ... well you know.

I saw this interview - on 'that' day - and it was with a young girl and I remember I was so upset that I wasn't really paying attention to the news coverage, but looked up when she was on.

.

She said something about texting with Prince after his flight landed, sayings he was biting her nails - and then he wrote back "don't bite your nails, eat food" - or something like that.

.

She wore her hair in a natural afro and was really pretty, I'd say maybe in her early 20's. (I understand that this sounds like a LOT of the girls he had around him, so you can see why I'm HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING OUT WHO THIS IS.

It's not Judith, it's not Andy- I didn't think it was Janelle - but then after seeing these videos I"m like.. wait, maybe it was and she just didn't have her hair done? But - agian, I don't think so b/c I didn't think Janelle did any interviews.

I rememeber Damaris, and Sheila were interviewed by the news - answering questions about the last time they talked, or what was going on...

This is a pointless post, I'm just curious and the longer I can't find it the more frustrating it is.

Sooooooooooooo out of SHEER CURIOSITY - can someone please tell me if you know who I'm talking about? AND do you know where any of these videos are now? I literally cna't find it - I've tried every google search term I can think of that MIGHT bring up this interview, but I fail.
