Latin,
Thank you for posting this video link. It was very entertaining and informative. I would love to hear addditional stories and their viewpoints on their long time association and friendship with Prince, the Minneapolis music scene, the concept and development of the “The Time”, a detailed backstory on the 1999 tour (Morris Day and the Time, Vanity 6 and the Revolution), and their successful careers as songwriters and producers of amazing and diverse artists such as Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Human League, Herb Albert, Rod Stewart, Yolanda Adams, Sounds of Blackness......I can go on. In my humble opinion, this “Dynamic Duo” should write a book on their successful musical journey. I think it will be a must read for any Prince fan and/or music aficionado. They have a fascinating and CREDIBLE story to tell.
Fun fact from Wikipedia: Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis have more Billboard Number Ones than any other songwriting and production team in history.[4] They have produced 16 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hits, and 26 Billboard R&B No. 1 hits.[4] [Edited 12/2/16 17:28pm] [Edited 12/2/16 18:52pm]

You can see the video of Jimmy's group in this thread: http://prince.org/msg/8/402127 You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
