Jesse has such a good heart! It broke my heart to read about how P's death crushed him so much that he just couldn't do any of the past tributes and how he always told Prince he didn't understand why he worried about him cause he was just a nobody compared to Prince...just wanna hug that man!..maybe someday I get to see him in person

I had a crush on Jesse back in the day. Sad he was so crushed. But he's still at, that's good.

Ya know, I was at that Show @ State Theater In MPLS Nov 5th, 2011. The Band was CRACKIN'!!!! Jesse was like the Black Mick Mars (Motley Crue): ALL THAT SOUND coming outta that Guitar, and He barely moved!!!! I also got to go onstage & do The Bird w/The OG7ven!!!! Only Jesse & Morris weren't @ the after-party..........

all of this smacks of false humility or maybe age mellowed him some. by all accounts jesse was a terror of ego tripping BS in the time days. remember back of few years, jellybean said that jesse's whole problem is that he wanted to be prince and couldn't be. so i don't believe he wasn't competitive with prince either. there were also plenty of stories about him as a solo artist. he is still a killer guitarist.

i loved his first 3 albums and 'can u help me' is still my jam. has it really been 30yrs !!! Prince #MUSICIANICONLEGEND

Really? then how come my EXTENSIVE RESEARCH on the man never turns up "factual" proof of said ego? The ones I have read, seemed to be former bandmates and such that were just bitter that they never got that shot that Jesse did.

Hoping I can find someone who wants to go along as I won't go alone. After the revolution show I was standing on the sidewalk down the block waiting for my hubby who went to get the car and was harassed by a couple sketchy dudes. I'm not normally the type who gets alarmed easily even in the city, but this time was different. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it.
