I have to say that today I had to make one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make in life. Knowing my obligations to my career and knowing the obligations to my heart makes choosing a bit difficult at times. I feel I always make the right choices but sometimes I just don't know. Being a member of one of the tightest and best bands ever to walk the face of the earth has giving me more than just notoriety and success. Me being apart of the New Power Generation and I think I speak for all of us, we are a family. Sitting in the rehearsals this week was so therapeutic and freeing. Seeing all of the decades of musicians that have worked with Prince, be in the same place at the same time to honor this Icon was beyond amazing. Time traveling throughout the music while still being in the present rehearsal was just magical and us being able to play it is one of the gift that music gives to you. Prince gave the world so much music, but he also gave us to you as his musical offspring so we just want to keep his legacy going. Thursday night will be nothing short of EPIC and Magical! Those of you attending, you better hold on to your seats! The NPG is gonna deliver the Purple Funk 100%! I still thank GOD the creator for the opportunity to have worked with him and so many great individuals. He gave us these gift to make sure we help people and ourselves through the good and bad times which is very much needed today. So let the music do that and free your minds. I know it's a lot I'm saying but basically I'm saying Prince we all miss you and all love you!!! -Also be ready in 2017 because I'm super motivated and I am going ALL OUT with what I learned from Boss Man. It looks like he had to cancel another engagement to be at the Prince Tribute. He was scheduled to be at the Pawleys Island Festival o...ic and Art. What a man!!! THIS is what you do when the man who paved the way for you passes away. Under NO circumstances do you miss paying tribute in an official capacity. I hope Err'body who ever rode the Purple Train is paying close attention. #RESPECK
