FDeluxe is light years ahead of everyone else right now to the point, I don't need the rest of those groups to do Prince's songs. Paul, Jellybean, Eric... it was lit in Japan and Australia.

I saw them at Jazz Cafe, it was a great night, really dig their album too. "We just let people talk & say whatever they want 2 say. 9 times out of 10, trust me, what's out there now, I wouldn't give nary one of these folks the time of day. That's why I don't say anything back, because there's so much that's wrong" - P, Dec '15

Nice tribute and I am suprised they included Batdance considering it was post revolution.
I am in a bad mood though because my first thought was that their tribute should have been called a "Tribute to Prince (1958-1990)". This is my pet peeve. At least throw a bone to later decades fellas. Would one song kill ya?

The "Tribute to prince" isn't really our idea. That's just what the venues wanted to call it. Half the stuff they play live was written by Prince (The Family) so it's not really an issue on our end at all. Gotta pay respect to the legend. The only real change from what the band has done in the past was the addition of 'America' (I was asked if they would include a song of Prince's and thats what they came up with) and in the second set 'Jungle Love', which made perfect sense as Bean and Paul were both part of the Ice Cream Castles line-up. Everyone had a great time and was blown away by the support. As an Aussie it was great to be able to finally have them play in my homeland after working with them all round the world. Appreciate everyone's continued supprt. This really is a grass roots thing on our end. Neil
ps the cool, mazarati, master blaster bits were definitely in the heat of the moment (the blink and you'll miss it batdance bit happened in japan so it kinda stuck for the next run)

Are there any video clips floating around of the Melbourne show? I'd particularly love to see them with Stokley drumming for them.
