Purple Xperience with Dr. Fink

While I'm not a fan of copies or "wanna be's" I gave them a look since Matt Fink is in it, and have to say these guys are pretty good!

.

I was surprised to read they've been performing since 2011

.

P.S. If anyone knows how to post a clickable/direct link let me know.

Eventually every cloud runs out of rain.

Fink is my man!

But I'm not buying the front man's "channeling" schtick. Something about that wig.

Now, what Fink's combo oughta do is break this Prince doppleganger outta the pen — make Killer their front man — gussy him up in the Purple Rain duds — have him lip sync on stage — while the bald-headed dude does the actual singing offstage...

Dude Thought He Was God!

With the doppleganger fronting as their front man, The Purple Xperience would well and truly really "Kill It" ;¬)

The front man is talented!! He plays guitar and piano and his singing and dancing is fairly good too. I saw them in detroit a few months ago. Good show!
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I saw them in Hartford in July. The show was princey, but not an over the top parody. I appreciated that. Very good musicians.

I also saw a couple fairly high profile articles about them recently. Billboard or Rolling Stone, maybe? And they put Marshall Charloff firmly out front. Almost like Matt Fink might be stepping out from behind his tribute band to do something else for a while? Revolution tour, anyone?

I'm completely guilty of rampant speculation, but I can dream... yes
And the MUSIC continues...forever...
