Wendy Williams made her name and money by saying worse - she was on the radio for years and she has no grave - in fact she was on Home Shopping Network this morning hocking her very successful clothing line.

MG is not a huge star and not many are checking for her- except some and that reality show did more disrespecting to Prince than Wendy doing what Wendy does.

I am not a Wendy Stan but I know what she does- she is sort of like Joan Rivers - it is their schtick.

With Joan, you always knew when she was riffing on someone and she did it in a way that did not spread rumors. Joan might have made the George Clinton comment but usually she stuck to celebrities who put themselves out there. The "alleged baby" comment was not funny at all.

I didn't say I was a fan of Joan. I said she was better at that kind of humor. What makes WW worse is that she states things as fact and then begins her comedy, so I have absolutely no doubt that many in her audience take those facts as being true. Joan did not do that; it was obvious that it was all a part of the joke and she didn't present speculation as fact. WW humor can start or give fuel to a rumor (such as Tyka being the sole heir to P's estate, as one of many examples). Part of it could be the format of the show, but still.

But, no, that kind of comedy is not my cup of tea.

I completely hear you. I also understood you were not a fan of Joan I just agree on the fact that Joan was "deplorable" as stated by endiadj. Even though she wasn't spreading false information. Her comments about Syrian refugees and Palestinian were out of line and that did it for me.

If people did not find this in appealing she whould not a market to paid her bills and lifestyle.
