I don't think the Revolution will be there either. They are spending a lot of time and energy in mpls for a few days this month. Can't see them being back so soon but who knows. And Sheila did her prince thing already. I'm good with seeing what some other musicians come up with. And that is the Vikings bye week so that's probably why they picked the date they did.
Well,Sheila is a touring artist and probably had a show scheduled already. The Rev aren't touring so I don't see why they can't show up. I guess they aren't willing to share the spotlight. It has to be all about them.

Sheila does her "Prince thing" every time she hits the stage.

Let's look at the bright side. Mavis, Jill Jones, The Revolution, Sheena, Cat, Ingrid, the original The Time, Elisa, and Rosie may now have the opportunity to perform a longer set at the memorial concert. Maybe this will even give extra time for Mayte to perform a few songs off her album. Performances by the Joffrey Ballet and/or FDeluxe would be great too. This would still be a beautiful experience. Especially, because many of these artists rarely perform. We can catch Sheila E. some other time during her tours.

Don't forget that Mint Condition will reportedly be there!!!!! I hope Bilal and The Roots will also be there. It would also be great to see D'Angelo. The Sounds of Blackness are also a big part of the MLPS Sound.

Maybe Sheila E. is very humble and wants to give these artists a chance to shine.

This would also give time for Andre to sing The Dance Electric and/or for Apollonia 6 to reunite with The Revolution backing them up.

Martika would have time to do a set including the lovely "Love Thy Will Be Done"

Dale can also have some time to perform her Prince song.

Did we already mention Jill Jones? I hope she does a song or two.

Jill Jones would be great. Hopefully, she will now have time to sing several songs off her debut album such as "Baby, You're A Trip" and "Mia Bocca".

It would be awesome for Mazarati to reform and do a couple of songs such as "100 MPH" and the original "Kiss".

Maybe Loise Lane can perform one of the songs Prince wrote for them too.

And why not? Carmen can do a rap or 2 from her Paisley Park album!

True. Plus maybe people want to see other Prince associates as well.

I would love to see the NPG do "Diamonds & Pearls" and "Cream" and "Gett Off" with Diamond and Pearl dancing. I know that won't happen, especially with Robia being so into her ministry work but I think that would be a nice tribute.

Also, he does have fans that know him from just his later days. So maybe have like the last incarnation of the NPG and Shelby get up there and do Chelsea Rodgers. I would LOVE that.
