Jill Jones, you're wrong.

So Jill Jones posts on her personal Facebook account to tell people to stop tagging her in Revolution posts. She's goes on to say that The Revolution are profiting off of Prince's death with them getting back together. But in a comment to the post, she states how pissed she is about not "everyone being invited" to the First Ave. shows.

Well, now we have the real reason.

So I have something to say to that particular person that says she does not want to be tagged in #Revolution post anymore and also to the people who blindly follow her every word.

I'm a little confused. It's amazing how people just go apeshit because one person's opinion and not knowing the full story. Sheep. That's the simple term for it. I'm not taking sides since I did not work with Prince, nor did I know him. That's how it should be.

That being said, those of you who are mad because of what The Revolution are "doing", whatever that means, but you're okay with Sheila E. rushing out a single about Prince. And "profiting off his passing". How is that any different?

Musicians are people and people grieve differently. My bass player of many years passed away unexpectedly and do you know what we were compelled to do? We got together in the studio and released songs he and I started, but never completed. That's how I grieved. This is no different.

So The Revolution isn't wrong and Sheila E isn't wrong. So get off your pedestals and your high horses and live your life... Not theirs. This sounds more like someone wasn't invited to the Party and she's pissed. By what do I know? All I know is that actions speak louder than words.

You're wrong She Whose Name I Cannot Say. 100% wrong.
