Vanity fell off because she was a crack addict. Anyone that has ever dealt with an addict knows they are not reliable and won't invest million in a movie if the star is stoned. Rumors of her being a prositute to support her habit and erractic behavior before her stroke that almost killed her. When she recovered she became a born again christian and left the entertainment industry.
