Who was your favourite band member? For me, I liked Wendy. I thought she was cool and stood out to me. Her and Prince seemed to have a chemistry. Who stood out for you? For whatever reason, musical ability, charisma, beautiful..anything.
I got the feeling she wasnt afraid of him..

Wendy and Sheila E. loved the chemistry and fun vibes between them and P. We all want the stuff that's found in our wildest dreams. . .

Dr. Fink. He was the best. I love synthesizers, and Fink was back there playing away. And his outfit was so out of place amidst all the glam. . A close second is Lisa. God DAMN she was talented and sexy. . And I do love Sheila E., but in my mind she was a solo artist that "guest starred" with the band at times.

I think they were all great together. If I had to pick one it would probably be Wendy, Lisa (love her voice) or Matt Fink. Wendy is very charismatic and complemented Prince really well onstage, musically but also physically. Matt Fink was just fantastic on the keyboard and he seems like a really cool guy too. My favorites in order: REVOLUTION - Dez Wendy Dr Fink Lisa Andre & BrownMark (tie) Sheila POST REVOLUTION - I loved Ida, Donna, and Hannah almost equally, but in that order. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

Lisa.
Always loved her earthreal vocals, and how she could play for song after song with that cigarette dangling from her mouth, never having to tip it once and could exhale smoke and blow her hair out of her face at the same time. Bish would be playing key pads and looking just as unbothered as a mofo
and Wendy and Sheila get honorable mentions of course, because they were just frickin' BEASTS.

I always thought Sonny T and Michael B were the best rhythm section he ever had. With John Blackwell and Ida Nielsen a close second.

Fink, W&L, Eric, Jerome, Cat, Bland, Sonny, Hayes, Rosie. Sheila is super dope, but I always loved how P & Lisa would wear their hair the same (or maybe they all kinda did, & I noticed it more w/ those two)

Wendy. She was humble, which was a great contrast to P at the front of the stage. She knew her place yet was a star in her own right. . Of course, Sheila, Lisa, and Rosie too .. all made their own unique contributions to his evolution. Show your heart to me.

Sheila E ofcourse. Also John Blackwell, Morris Hayes, Rhonda and Ida. I love what they brought to the table in terms of giving his songs fresh new life at live concerts and jam sessions.

these two and dez. i co-sign evrything you said about lisa, i used to practice keyboards sideways like she was in 1999. i never thought much of wendy but she grew on me over the years. it was a matter of marketing on P's part- she's got chickengrease tho. -- after the 4 piece NPG, all of his bands just drifted together in my mind. no one is distinguishable, imo.
