I love Prince as much as the next supporter, but it's a convention and it's about publicly laying party platforms, platforms where we're facing serious political issues stemming from any number of crises affecting the safety and well being of our nation, domestically and globally...it's not exactly the appropriate moment or forum to turn the entertainment segment of the evening into a showbiz tribute , even if it's for someone as beloved by his fans as Prince was | |
