He paid them today's equivalant of $600 a week (which is what my parent's support 3 kids on) with all album related expenses paid. But what happened in their personal relationship is between them. All is fair in love and war, so it is silly to take sides. Love them both.

Yeah that interview was about the Time. After that break up. But was it negative stuff or was it factual stuff. I mean the were rightful upset at Jimmy & Terry being fired while in the works of making Purple Rain.

That was a 1990 interview: Prince also said he didn't fire Jimmy & Terry, that 'remember' it was Morris's band. Which is still a play on the old game.

I've never seen' made shitty pay at Paisley Park' on her official FB though. But Prince did say something nasty about her in an article (along with Morris) and then he had the article removed. This was before the Piano & Microphone tour.

The article was reprinted by Ebony and he did not say anything nasty about her. Susan has been going around saying that "The Beautiful Ones" was written about her. Prince said he wrote the song before he met her and that the song is in Purple Rain and that she is not in the movie. Later he would say at Piano and Mic show that the song was written about Vanity. He was calling out a old girlfriend that will not move on with her life.

He also said that the Time was Morris Day and him without the other guys even playing on the records and that he wanted to do a project with just him and Morris. Nothing nasty was said about Morris. He was even at Paisley Park to perform in January.

I so wish he had a chance to finish his book. He spent so many years not responding to so much crap that it is now all seen as factual. I also feel sorry for people like Susan who seem unable to move on with their lives . Is it something that we are finding out about all the good stuff he did behind the scenes while old employees spend their time bitching and moaning. We never even heard Prince complaining about pain or health issues he just went out and worked his ass off until the end.

erm, sorry guys. i need receipts. rumors usually pan out over 20 yrs esp. in this day and age. every other rumor of 20yrs ago has revealled itself one way or another. countless examples; from the women i mentioned in my earlier post to the "rumors " about mj's behavoir with adolescent boys, r.kelly's behavior with underage girls, queen latifah and her girl, missy elliot and tweet, the boy band scenes, whitney smoking crack, bill cosby the rapist, charlie sheen.....

all of that has been proven one way or the other over time. i heard sheila was gay back in 98', still no receipts.

fwiw, i know people who have seen keanu with both men and women (another popular rumor in the 90s) but no one has "proof" or confession the sheila's gay. just like my parents told me prince was gay back in 85'. the man has gone on to eternity and still absolutely no proof or allegations that he ever had a male lover.

Thank u. Susannah was taking the credit for so many of the love songs. Prince put her in her place. I don't think any songs were written about her.....
