Has Terry Lewis made any public comments about Prince's death? Jimmy Jam has been all over TV saying good things, he has no hard feelings. Perhaps I missed it, but I haven't seen or heard of Terry Lewis making any public comment. I know Jimmy Jam had known him longer, but you'd think Terry would have said something too.

Can't believe you asked this question. I happen to meet him this past weekend in a resort in puerto Vallarto. He was a very friendly and soft spoken man who made very nice comments about my partner who was doing water color paingings there. Upon formal introducations, he said that he was Terry Lewis and shyly sais that he produced music . I thought I most have imagined it given I just had gotten off the Prince.org site. I looked him up online when I got back to his hotel room and indeed it was him. Throughout the week, Terry initiated a friendly and rather shy hello every time we saw him. I wanted to ask him about Prince so bad, but I really didn't want to intrude in his space given how pleasant he was being.

Haha, this is exactly what I was thinking. Jimmy has always been the one who has commented publicly about anything. Terry doesn't have that reputation.

Right after Prince's death Jimmy Jam said that Terry spoke to Prince all the time. I suspect this is the reason he has not made any comments. I notice that most of his longest known associates have said nothing or very little to the media.

I imagine that they are the onesw that are most respectful to Prince's longstanding value of privacy when it comes to his personal life.

I have never heard Terry Lewis speak without Jimmy Jam being present so I don't think this is a big deal.
