Great news....I think Prince would be proud of this, more than all the awards he won over the years.

Manuela, what a real honour this.

I meant to ask is the picture of Prince and Mani taken after their divorce. This picture doesn't appear to be while they were still married.

Well...A funk school..with instruments in Minneapolis and/or St. Paul would be nice too.. Maybe, The Family will do it.

Very few true funk players and producers now, but people are taught jazz a lot.

Prince was built from funk. (Sorry, Eric).

His best pop hits had hints of funk, not all rock or jazz.

All tributes to Prince must now be done in Minneapolis? As a resident, I love the idea for the local economy, but as a ... well, pretty much everything else, that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I can promise you, nobody is referring to Minneapolis as the home of funk. Prince was a fish out of water here, and he knew it.

Music Education and appreciation has been pushed out of schools in the US for the past 2 decades, and it's getting worse. My money is staying here. Sorry if I offend. I teach, therefore I know....
