Judith Hill Live in Ottawa Just came back from the Judith Hill concert at Ottawa JazzFest - gotta say it far surpassed my expectations! The music is much better live than the studio versions (although those are great too), and Judith is an outstanding performer. Her band is tight (including her parents - her father plays a crazy slap-bass, and her mother is an amazing keyboardist and pianist). One of the highlights was her cover of 3121!
I got to meet Judith after the show - she was very sweet and modest and signed autographs. I asked her whether we can expect new studio tracks recorded with Prince from the Vault - she said no. They jammed a lot, but there were no other formal tracks recorded/written.
Anyway - if you get a chance to see her live - you must!

Does anyone know the status of Judith's recording contract(s) with PP or Sony?
