I dont know. But the last few times watching Purple Rain...I cant seem to keep my eyes of Wendy.

She was really cute back in the day.

Of course my Number 1 would still be Apollonia. But Wendy is looking dayam cute too.

I agree Wendy was cute, but I always quite fond of Lisa. Especially in the late 80's-early 90's...Her smile and eyes did it for me.

Even as a little gay boy in the mid-south, I had a huge crush on Wendy. I was young & green when I saw the "When Doves Cry", and the poster in the album and thought it might be a dude. I mean, no one was really dressed "normal" there, except m-a-y-b-e Fink. And that's a stretch.

Once she gave The Kid the business a few times in Purple Rain, well - that was it for me. I just loved her spunk so much. "You like that, is that better?!"

I always had an affection for both of them, and Susannah once I saw her more in The Family & on the Hit N' Run Tour.

In 2009, when Wendy said hi to me once, well - that was it for me, again. Full circle, and I told her how I used to crush on her as a kid. We aren't that far apart in age, so I guess I sort of lived through her more in those days, in that - she was 20, and I'm 16. What if I were playing guitar for....

You get the rest. But yeah, Wendy is straight up real.

(I always thought it was rather funny-ironic that she ended up dating another woman named Lisa, after her and L. Coleman broke up. Lisa Cholodenko is a director, whose films include The Kids Are Alright with Julianna Moore, Annette Benning, and Mark Ruffalo, various TV series and mini-series.)

She was definitely cute, but she also just looked cool. Like somone you'd want to hang out with. She looked great on the cover of W&L's debut album and in the videos. But, I always thought she looked, not bad at all, but "older" in the Kiss video, which predates W&L solo stuff.

I think it was the makeup. Even Prince's makeup made him look a bit tired.
