Did you see her doing The Beautiful Ones in Amsterdam? I recall her having some differences with Prince over credit for "Soul Sanctuary". Didnt she take legal action against Prince?

She would have been a much better choice instead of Jennifer Hudson at the BET thing.

I don't know about differences between them, but I watched her tribute on Amsterdam. It's one of my favortie, it was amazing, so powerful!

I think I can count on one hand the number of tribute/cover performances I like. This is one of them.

In fact, most of that Paradisio show is really good. It kind of breaks down at the end IMO, as "Purple Rain" and "1999" were rough. But dadgum, everything else was spot-on.

I didn't care for the dreary "Controversy" but I applaud the guy for trying a new direction with it.
