Morris needs to be cut some slack, because he was probably the one that knew him the longest, so much love and history there, I mean he has been posting a lot of clips and sayings and pics of the old days so he truly is missing his bro as he put it. Also great posts coming from Paul Peterson and Andre Cymone I think now a lot of them are trying to do damage control, because they are hurt they lost someone that was their world much more to them than us, so I think they all are starting to see this is getting ugly and even Paul Peterson said he felt bad that "maybe they were encouraging this feeling too"

Lets face it - Morris was shitting on Prince for not letting him use 'The Time' brand. I have seen radio interviews with him telling stories that didnt show Prince in a good light. I am sure Peterson wasnt happy about having to create a band name worse than the one the Time created because they lacked clearance from Prince. Of course, they all know that they wouldnt be who they are without Prince once Prince is gone.

I think Morris and Prince had their issues over the years and Morris is pretty mercurial-more so than Prince. Morris was never awed by Prince and wasn't gonna take shit. They both have egos, but at the core, there is love.

I know Jellybean Johnson thought badly of Prince for years and not too long ago, called him a freak. He said some very nasty things about Prince over the last decade that I thought were unwarranted.

Now as far as St Paul, he and Prince had a very, very nasty falling out. A lot of people forget that, but it was news when it happened and Paul had his say.

Maybe you misunderstood me? I'm firmly in the Morris Day camp. .

I'm saying the big picture, I know that some are getting on them and others like SHELIA who everyone loved and now for some reason is getting hated on by some fans for having opinions. So that is what I meant by it.

Morris and Prince, if you go by Prince's now deleted Ebony magazine interview and Morris Day's social media timeline, apparantley patched up their differences nearly a year before he died, and were planning, or at least talking shit about possibly, touring, recording and doing a part two to Purple Rain. I didn't really talk about it on this site just because I didn't want to jinx it, but if you were following Morris Day you knew he and Prince were back to being friends again.

Also makes me wonder if Morris knew Prince's health was in jeopardy, because he was constantly sending props to 3rdeyeGirl and just cheerleading whatver Prince had going on before he died, so...

haters fall back with that negativity bish.
