The last time Sheila spoke with Prince was about 8 months ago. She also called him when she heard about his plane making an emergency landing and she was told by Kirk that he was resting but he was fine. I just feel that many people on this website have a hard time believing or accepting the fact that Prince loved Sheila. He was smitten by her even before they actually met personally because he had been following her career. I truly believe she was the love of his life and he was the love of her life. Prince didn't have to keep having her around but he wanted too. Yes, she's the best drummer in my opinion but she's not the only drummer. I honestly believe they were probably in a relationship on and off throughout the years. She won't say and we all know Prince would never say. I'll bet people that have worked with them throughout the years could tell us a lot of stories about them. I personally loved Prince and Sheila E being together.

I don't think Prince loved Sheila in the romantic soulmate sense but was in "love" with her gift as a drummer and what she could do for his career. That's why he had been following her career. And that so called "engagement" was nothing but a sexual relationship. [Edited 5/25/16 19:31pm] |
