Did he fall out with Morris? Where are the projects he was supposed to do on his own? The show just isnt the same without him - I will actually pass sometimes when Morris Day and the Time come to town.

My understanding, which is just from reading what these guys say publicly, is that it's money to some extent and then the desire for all 7 guys to work together, which requires a big project because once again, money. Jerome helped train his replacement, so I wouldn't call it a 'falling out' with Morris. There were plans for the guys to reunite with Prince this summer, though there always seemed to be plans to reunite with Prince so who knows? Remember Jerome and Terry Lewis are brothers and he's part of Flyte Tyme to a degree also. That's the basics of it as far as I can tell anyway.

Doesn't Jerome do a certain number of shows with Morris (Bean and Monte are at least still with Morris, right?)

No. Jerome has showed up at a few L.A. area shows since he left, but that's it. His last official show with "Morris Day and the Time" was December 31, 2006. He did participate in the O7 shows. Yes Bean and Monte are still in the group.

Has there been any reaction from Jerome to Prince's death? I haven't seen or heard anything . . . .

Last time I saw Jerome was at a Time show in St. Louis around 2005. His baby momma was in the audience with a big sign talking about how he was a Deadbeat Dad and how he owed her tons of back child support. Maybe he's somewhere hiding from her. Such nastiness.

He left The Time because he got tired of holding the mirror and playing second fiddle to Morris.

I get doing the most for your kid, but there had to be a better way.

Maybe she felt that public shaming was all that was left......it was pretty awful.

That is stupid because she is actually harming his source of income and job by doing that. What if Morris said he didnt want that at the shows and fired Jerome? THen where would the spiteful hoochie get child support?

And lets face it - Jerome is not going to be much more than he is: Morris Day's side man. He isnt a real musician. He is a showman.
