Cat Glover's CD from the 1990's

Does anybody remember Cat's CD from the early 1990's ? It was simply titled 'Cat' and came out around the time Carmen Electra was released. I tried sources like the Prince Vault site and nothing was available. The cover had her standing on the right and 'CAT' was in bold orange print. THANKS!! biggrin

Discogs is usually your friend in this regard, but they don't have it listed...

I don't honestly remember. I know I have a bunch of Cat stuff in digital form, but I don't remember how much of it was officially released and how much is, ya know, the other stuff.

I have a 3 inch single , cat woman with the cat logo. I don't remember an album being released? It was produced by tim Simenon from bomb the bass.

I was not that impressed so I didn't give it much time , but tbh I was obsessed with p and his stuff and it didn't seem to be close ? Although it was similar to her lovesexy rap .

I really dug the Cat CD single. She recorded a full album but it was never released. Apparently it is stuck in the Warner vault. I'd love to hear it someday.

I don't think that it was her choice to keep it unreleased. She would love for it to be released, actually.

I recall reading an interview with Cat,back in late 1989.She said that her album would be titled 'I Am Energy',produced by the same guy who produced Nenah Cherry's album.
