I don't think he threw her away.. that's a bit harsh. I think they both had so much grief and as someone who's suffered losses myself I know it can sometimes break you too. Some couples grow closer and some apart. This was the latter case. On their break up, I believe prince could see things would never work out and that's why he divorced her. She was much younger and needed to move on from him in order to go forward and 'live her life'. Maybe he didn't handle it the best way, but who knows.. it's not really for us to speculate. I don't believe he would have just cast her aside as some might think. He would have considered a number of factors, he might not have wanted to try for another child either and she might have wanted to. He sounded sad at times talking about her, ie. not wanting to play certain tracks because she wasn't around.. it clearly affected him as much as her. I think the baby losses, his parents passing and numerous other traumas all added to his recent melancholy state.. he was not without suffering that's for sure. Just private about it, where some are more publicly open.

At the time of Prince moving on from her, he was also deep into his JW studies, focussing on the importance of cross v. stauros, etc. Based on everything I've seen, I don't think Mayte was ever open to it, which probably also contributed to them drifting apart.

It isnt any of our business, but its hard not to reflect on it when here she is saying he basically left her and she never left him...really? I mean it sounds like a cry for help to me and the kid is in the video too hearing and seeing all this.

My only issue with this video, aside from the fact that I'm concerned for Mayte and how she's coping with her grief, is that she shouldn't be drunk/drinking in front of her daughter. I had an alcoholic father growing up, and I'll never ever forget how it affected me to see him drunk, whehter he was being a 'loud happy drunk' (not his usual mood when drunk, but rarely he was like that) or he was a moody, angry, unpredictable drunk. It made me uncomfortable and nervous and I never knew how to respond to him, it only made me want to run away from him and hide. It was terrible. So, please Mayte, don't drink in front of Gia.

She defintely is grieving and I have no judgement about her being tipsy. But, it's just not a good idea to make this public. I'm just saying she's not using her best common sense at this time, but, in saying that, I totally understand why and I empathize.
