I feel for Mayte. She was a young girl when they met and Prince was already a world renowned mega star. I admirer her for being able to love her man and accept everything that came with his stardom, the late nights in the studio, the after parties, the attention he attracted, his fans, the women, the women, the women...

I do know that he tried to make it easy for her and gave her as much attention as he could early in their relationship. I also know that Prince likes change. Mayte came around at the right time and became his muse. He always had a thing for dancers. Mayte's specialty was bellydancing which made her stand out from most.

As he evolved, his taste changed to women like Manuela. He saw her potential to rise up in the business world. She was already a well educated business woman. They shared the same passion for philanthropy. He gave her all the advice and tools (funds) needed to set her up in her career with charitable organizations. Not sure why they divorced.

Toward the end of his life he was close to Tamron Hall (spitting image of my aunt). Could have been wife #3.

That's hard to watch, and at the same time without seeing this I never would have understood how much Prince still meant to her. It's sad due to his being gone, but it's love.

I've always loved Mayte, I can't imagine what she's going through. She's never fully moved on. I watched her snapchat last night and saw she was getting a tattoo but she didn't say of what, but I had a feeling it was for him.

People have been saying this for years on here. I mean what mother basically gives her 16 year old daughter to a man in his 30's? Who does that shit? For a long time I had sympathy for Mayte and my heart went out to her, but with all that being said she has done some scandalous shit too. I mean constantly selling his stuff, that god awful tv show and didnt she date some messed up men after Prince? As women weve all dated messed up men, but there comes a time when u pick yourself up and move on! I mean if any of that mess is true about Prince and the baby then she shouldve left his ass first!!! No way in hell a man's gonna treat me bad even if it was Prince.

Then on top of that she went along with Prince lying to the public about the child being alive....no way in hell!! Yes she was young, but what mother would go along with that?

U know that was messed up as a fan it even hurt me to find out the baby died....why would they do that? I know that grief can make u do things u normally wouldnt, but that was just sad...damn

Indeed...Prince was human and had feelings, but I do believe that the stuff he did concerning that child were just wrong and it caused Mayte to be messed up like this even now...just sad.

It seemed like he blamed her for the death of their child. At a time when she was grieving herself he was posting messages about how mothers who use chemicals during their pregnancy (such as makeup and hair dyes) can cause the symptoms that happened to their child. I can't imagine that strengthened their relationship in any way.

Not to go there and by all means not to hurt Mayte, but if they miscarried twice and Manuela miscarried once cuz she did...then the problem wasnt the ladies...it was Prince. That hurts me to say that but its true.

I remember I was listening to Tom Joyner like in the early 2000's and he said Prince was moving to Canada to be with his pregnant wife Mani then all of a sudden...no baby again. It wasnt the ladies.
