That Prince had input on

  • Jill Jones
  • The Family
  • Madhouse 8 and 16
  • NPG Exodus

.

Past band members

  • Wendy & Lisa's first album
  • Shiela E's 3rd album (probably belongs to the previous list)
  • The Family Gaslight (as fDeluxe)
  • The Time Condensate (as The Original 7ven)

.

I loved Yo Mister, especially the single remix, which I recorded from the cassingle to another cassette.

You can check out the credits for Patti LaBelle's Be Yourself, which had 2 Prince jams on it

you can buy it on ebay

All the 80's albums he worked on for other artists are an essential piece of the puzzle.

I think Jesse's solo stuff is decent, albeit inconsistent, and Wendy and Lisa's solo albums are a whole thing onto themselves. I love Andre Cymone's solo stuff as well, although it's probably a little more of a niche sound.

Jill Jones! I think Prince was intimidated by her talent. What do you expect from someone hailing from the Teena Marie camp?? Jill is the only protege with a dynamic voice.
