Prince worked with so many talented people over the course of his career, but some of them are uniquely multi-talented. Here are my picks.

1. Sonny T (one helluva singer, great bass player).

2. St. Paul (very good and unique singer, multi-instrumentalist)

3. Levi Seacer Jr. (Great bassist and guitarist).

4. Jimmy Jam.

5. Terry Lewis.

Sheila E she can sing, play instruments and breakdance, what's not to like oh and she can act too Krush Groove the movie is classic

Vanity had a hit single with Nasty Girl and a few minor hits with her other albums BUT she really did well with acting...Last Dragon, Action Jackson, Never too Young to Die, etc. these movies made money and she was all over the talk shows and being interviewed on the news. She started as a beauty pageant queen, international model (USA, Canada, Japan) and even did Pearl Drops tooth polish commercials before she met Prince.

Thanks its a great pic of them I liked Apollonia too (she was amazing on Falcon Crest) and she did a good job in Purple Rain......but lets face it's like comparing Gene Wilder to Johnny Depp Willy Wonka's. If Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory never existed, I would have enjoyed Charlie & the Chocolate Factory alot more. Vanity is the OG, The Blue Print, the Orginal Muse and I wear knee high boots because of Vanity. I felt the same way about The Time in Purple Rain without Jam & Lewis. If u have seen The Homecoming tour 1983 u will know what I mean.

Apollonia was ok, i liked her in the movie but it was obvious she was a filler, not the original, real deal...Purple Rain was originally Vanitys movie and the role was written for her, with her in mind both prince and Vanity acknowledged that in the 80/90's.

Carmen Electra--another Prince protege said in an interview that Purple Rain was all about Vanity...the songs, etc. she spoke so kindly of Prince after he passed and Vanity as well..she said they were together, both taken at 57, so close together..she acknowledged that as well.

Andre Cymone..He was there from the beginning..He could sing, produce and play a bunch of instruments too.
