Their relationship was something else. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when they were together. I imagine when things were good, it was amazing but when thigs were bad, it was scary and out of control. Me too. Just to see the dynamic. What a shame there doesn't seem to be live video footage of them together- at least not available to the public.

I know in the around 2009 he was living out in LA and recording in LA. I have no idea where he was living at the time of his death

He had a home on the island of Turks and Caicos. It was a very private estate with its own private beach, boating dock and such. It is actually going up for sale since his passing. I think PP was still his main home but I am not sure really.

I don't know how he managed to be so private. We never knew where he was or what he was doing. Not that it was anyone's business but I am just in awe at all private he was able to keep his personal life private.

I know someone asked a few pages back, but did anyone post a link to Prince's concerts in Melbourne when he was dedicating songs to Vanity? Is there footage of it and if so, could someone post the link as I'd love to see it!

I have been digging into Prince's newer music and WOW.. I'm loving it. His newer stuff seems to be more reflective on the past. I think there are hints of Denise in songs there too.

Glad you're enjoying it! I don't know whether you've stumbled on PlectrumElectrum yet? It was released the same time as Art Official Age in 2014. It's quite rocky with his girl band 3rdEyeGirl but AnotherLove and Wow really have to be about Denise!

I've just realised this link is pink so you should be able to click on it and it will open directly to the page then scroll down and click on whatever you want to listen to. If it's an album it will show all the tracks. If it's a single, you'll see that too. It's a bit of a mess the list as there are singles and albums on there and there seem to also be other artists with the same name. There's no registration needed.

I listened to Wow and the only word that comes to mind besides Wow, is rekindling? Could that really be though?

I have a question... Does anyone know if Prince and Denise talked just before she passed? Did he know just how close to death she was at the end? I have seen people mention her GoFundMe campaign and how she wasn't able to reach her goal. I know he has helped her in the past but does anyone know if he stepped in this time? Not that it's place but I just wonder if he knew anything and if he did anything. He seemed genuinely shocked and distraught about her death when he found out before performing in Melbourne so I just wonder how much he knew or if he knew anything at all.

I was just looking at some videos on YouTube where Prince is talking about his religion, jehovah and how different he is now, not the crazy guy who made mistakes (compared to his younger life) thanks to religion.

This video shows him several different times talking about this, he reminds me of Denise, the way she preaced the word, except..he's more quiet, centered and doesn't do the dramatics....she i think was more theatrical and really just fired up.

What the most intersting thing is, how Prince chose a religion as intense and as all encompassing but yet COMPLETELY WITH OPPOSITE BELIEFS regarding God/Jesus!

Its almost as if he wanted to do what she did, find peace, be religious, change for the better, but make sure it was the total opposite of what she believed, followed, preached..ON PURPOSE

Maybe to knock horns with her again, like in the old days?? Can you imagine these two preaching THEIR WORD AND TRUTH to each other later in life, before they both passed away>?
