What a massive surprise, out of of nowhere comes this Vanity 6, perfect soundboard from FBG Free Music. Love it and great to hear Vanity at the peak of her career. It is the full show (though their sets were always rather short) from March 21, 1983 at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. The set list is:

1. Intro

2. Make Up

3. Wet Dream

4. Drive Me Wild

5. If A Girl Answers (don't hang up)

6. Nasty Girl

They sound great and like they are out to conquer Manhattan.

Hope you all can find it out there.

True, it's great sound quality but the Miami Orange Bowl sound check just blew it out the water! Strange Relationship sounds amazing!!!

I love this release but man those songs are short.

I was hoping for a LONG version of Drive Me Wild complete with Guitar solo.

Whom ever is releasing this stuff.......................GREAT job.

The New York City date was one of those nights The Time's performance was canceled because Prince didn't want to get shown up. So I doubt a nonexistent Time set was with this originally. http://www.princevault.co...March_1983

Just listening to this now...... FUCK, this is so good. Jesse in particular is on fire.

Some of these are better than the album versions, musically at least.

Which makes sense, since there were three shows each night. It's a bit of a shame the 1999 Tour gigs were so short, because what we do have was frikking amazing.

Man.. we are so underserved as Vanity 6/Time fans. All we get officially is Prince's bullshit excuses. This soundboard is a gem and should have come out probably 30 years ago.
