PANDEMONIUM (the return of the magnificent 7)

Who liked The Times last album? And does anybody know why Corporate World never made it?

& was pretty damn naive.
she looks 98% like Danielle Spencer (russel crowe's wife)
its freaky!

the solos on that track wail & just the whole vibe is killer.
plus Data Bank got me bobbin' my head in the car 2day

The Time: FUNK ROCK MASTERS. This album was tight! Skillet was one of my favorite jams. I've never seen them do this one live, though. Too bad.

Yes this was a nie project indeed. I like Blondie, Skillet and Chocolate. Yount is a howl too.

If you go to http://www.purplemusic.mynetcologne.de
There may be some info on Corporate World in the story section.

I wouldn't mind seeing just one more Time project.A double CD where they don't hold anything back. Magnificent Seven wouldn't be a bad title either.

Pandemonium is alright..

but I think it's still the "weakest" of the 4 ORIGINAL Time albums..

I think they messed up because they strayed from their
"6 & out" policy..
everyone who's familiar with the Time at all knows each of the 1st 3 albums had SIX songs each. Very efficient, & it allowed for those LONG original versions of their songs..

Other (fairly obvious) similarities of the 1st 3 (better) albums:

- each album had a song on it beginning with the word "The".. (Stick, Walk, Bird)

- each album had at least 1 "slow jam".. the 1st album "spoiled" us with TWO!

- more evident on the 1st 2 albums than the 3rd, each had a "new wave" type song: After Hi School, OnedayImgonnabesomebody, &.. on the 3rd it could be said that The Bird" was Ice Cream Castle's "new wave" song (though it was rather funky), if for no other reason it has the "fastest tempo" among the songs on this album.

Pandemonium, on the other hand.. there are, what..
TWELVE SONGS
on that album?

Other than Jerk Out & Chocolate, I could pretty much live without that album. The Time was SMART to release Jerk Out & Choclate as singles. I know the names of maybe 5 songs on this album- the ones I think are worth listening to.

I had the impression that they were just "posturing" on Pandemonium. Maybe they thought they'd stay together long enough to tour or something.
I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..

The 'Corporate World' album was recorded by only Prince,Morris and Jerome without the other Time members being involved. It was given a release date (November 1989) but it was shelved when the other bandmembers decided to get involved.Once Jam,Lewis,Jesse,Jellybean and Monte re-joined the band,it made sense to start from scratch and record an entirely new album.

'Pandemonium' has some great songs ("It's Your World" is my fav) but it is my least favorite Time album.

I love Pandemonium, but it always sounded too overproduced and had lost a little of that magic that the originals had. You'll never beat What Time Is It?

I LOVE it! Great guitar playing from jesse, lots of great songs. (I've got the vinyl version and it's a litle on the quiet side because there's so much music cramed onto it!)
