Red Head Stepchild Shame this track somehow fell through the cracks. Enjoy hearing it back to back with PBL. Sick 'em buckwheat!

Yes, I love it, but I married a "red head stepchild" so maybe it's me?

I saw Tamar Davis perform this song in Philly w/ Prince & the Twins and she blew me away. Actually, the entire show blew me away but this song was nice!

I was at that show as well (Music Factory?) . RHS is a spicy lil' rock number and one of the album's highlights. P. and Tamar put their collective foot all up in this joint. Serious guitar on this track. Princevault assumes P. played all instruments and the guitar certainly sounds like his work around the time of the 3121 era when he was working with her on her debut album, so I'm gonna give him credit on the blistering guitar soloing. Tamar handily carries the high energy of the track on her powerful, bluesy vocals. . It's unfortunate Milk & Honey was never officially released. Of all of the proteges P. has worked with, Tamar is definitely one of the most talented in terms of singing ability. [Edited 11/30/15 21:20pm]
