Venture a guess this was 99.9% produced by Welton

Listened to this several times and it sounds like Prince asks him to lay down a beat for each track and then comes in for overdubs. From the voice warping to the chords, I'm not really sure what Prince's production contribution was.

Even the exquisite June has the same thread of chords and sounds that Josh had been feeding Prince recently.

And does Josh get composition credits as he seems to be adding his own lead tinny piano lines?

I'm not saying it's a bad thing but to purists, this won't sit well.

You NAILED it. Josh and Hannah also met with Jay-Z to secure the payment from Tidal for Prince. My ears don't hear Prince doing much, if anything at all on the album. I think Prince straight up FLEECED Tidal, by selling them a Josh album, that they can market as Prince, but... ain't no Prince on the album.

If this is 99.9% produced by Joshua than I hope he does some more because I have not been this happy with a Prince album since The Rainbow Children. Lotusflower the single disc was very good but the other one brought that package down a little. I love this album. It is really a lot of fun and finally a party record which is what i like the most from Prince
