Tell me your experiences meeting P band members/proteges.. The only one I have met was Tommy Barbarella, back in 93.
I was in MPLS for a minute, and on this particular day I was in the Mall of America, and Tommy walked right by me,hair in a ponytail. And I walked up to him and said "are you Tommy Barbarella'and he said "yes". Instead of starting an actual conversation, all I could think to say was the typical "can I have your autograph" and he took a piece of paper out of his pocket or something and I found a pen,and he signed it,and then for some reason,I asked for a hug and got it. And that's that!! Should have asked him some questions or something...but of course my shyness took over,oh well... I saw Vanity at Spooky World (a Halloween theme park in Massachusetts)! It was really weird. I yelled, "You're fucking Vanity!" Then I was a bit embarrassed, remembering she's a minister and all... The Normal Whores Club

Some of his former band members and proteges have changed so much that it would be hard to recognize them today.
If I saw Wendy and Lisa on the street as they are today, somebody would have to tell me who they are before I'd recognize them. I saw Brownmark in a booth at a Chanhassen restaurant in 2000 when he was there for the celebration. I didn't know who he was until my companion pointed him out. Bobby Z had aged alot. Denise Matthews looks totally different in her business suits these days than back in the day when she strutted around in fishnets and lingerie as Vanity. If you saw Denise Matthews on the street today, it would take you a while before it dawned on you that she used to be Vanity.

I met Sonny T and Michael B last year in Paris. I had been to their concert and met them by chance at the bar of the hotel they were at, and I swear I didn't know they were staying at this hotel!
I forced myself to go and talk to them and I'm very glad I did : they were very friendly and askes for where they could go to to enjoy themselves in the neighbourhood. It was just as simple as that. Byebye

Saw Renato at an afterparty. Thought he was acting kind of sleazy, actually. He was running his fingers through this girl's hair (I knew her--they had never met before) and being cuddly with her, and it was yucky. Groupie-hunting. *shudder*

Really? I found it hard to get him to shut up! I guess he was in a good mood. I know he is shy for sure, cuz I know what is being shy...that's in the look of his eye. I looked into his eyes one day;). And sometimes shy people 'wear a mask' in public, they play a role and do extraordinary things some people wouldn't do. That fits him well, doesn't it?

I met Michael Bland while he was playing drums for Chaka Khan. I actually went by his room and got his autograph. He's a pretty cool cat.
Conversation went exactly like this. Me: Thanks for the autograph Mike. I'm dying to know how was it working with Prince? Mike B: Are you really a big Prince fan? Me: Yes, I'm a diehard fan, Prince is my musical hero. Mike B: Well I don't want to tarnish your opinon of your musical hero. The nicest thing I can say about him is that he's an asshole!"

I speak to Jerome now and then
Morris Day nice but always in morris day mode DR.Fink I first met him at the first celly with his wife very gracious people and Bobby Z cool and quiet Kirk Johnson a sweetheart ShielaE was not a two way conversation I just kept praising the girl Larry Graham knows my family who are in the truth I Avoid him asking when will I return Mani pre marriage to Prince during the first celly the concert was at UOM auditorium and she was introduced as Prince's girlfriend she was working with the tickets and a long story happened with my ticket and she was nice enough to switch my ticket 4 good seats she was nice to me and from what I could see she was holding down the fort. and she was not the fancy Mani we see now she was working hard ... from a outside perspective I see why Prince may trust her Mr Vaughn is the man who designed the outfits 4 Purple Rain and our conversation was about the industry followed up with a debate about creativity and design... putting your name on something is business actually doing it yourself is somthing to be proud of. The Time DINNER WITH THEM IS A LAUGH AND A HALF Prince he has given me a guitar pick his towel after a Mad Sex performance.he has given me water and some Chakalates the only thing ever said during a autograph signing is if the lip piercing I had years ago if hurt and he shook his head Takumi cute fine always hookin me up at the party I played roadie one time and helped out with some equipment that could be carried
