Good song, I like it, but it's above Sheila's singing capabilties. And the video is pretty bad.

I like the way that she promoting this album. This is the fourth video she's made for the album, and she's been on the chat shows as well. She's really standing behind her work, giving it the full attention that it deserves.

It's a bittersweet song. The video features Sheila as we knew her - wow, what iconic images - and couples it with who she is today. It's nice to see that she is embracing her old self as she continues her journey. I "miss" the old Sheila but am very glad to see she is back, moving on, and doing her own thing. Really, when you think about it, I am sure she's been scared of moving out from Prince's shadow - but as she's proven, she's more than who she was then.

I think her vocals on this album (and this song) are really impressive. She's displaying a whole new vocal confidence that we didn't really hear on the 80s albums.

Lame song and video looks like it cost about the same price as an M&S meal deal, not including videos ripped from youtube and time spent typing "Shiela E" into google image search for the "materials".

Hmm, don't feel any inclination to listen or view again. It's like Sheila E continues to trade on past ssociation yet with easy-listening-lite material. Just doesn't engage a all.

Well,to be fair,Sheila is not on a major label these days. She has to pay to make videos herself.Considering that,I think the video came out pretty good

The video might be cheaply made but I think it´s decent, considering that Sheila is independent now and does not have the financial support of a major label. The song is alright but not my cup of tea, I like her faster, more Latin sounding songs. She does look great these days. Good to see her healthy and fine. She still looks gorgous, no need for the blurry and soft look in the video. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

You can say that, knowing the notes she has hit in songs? SERIOUSLY???

You said it. Giving the album the attention it deserves, because the album is what should be speaking for her, not all the flash and style that usually has to accompany. The album is growing on me slowly, and I will eventually pick it up.

Compared to some of the other female Prince proteges,Sheila can sing. She's no Patti Labelle, but she's got a great voice and she can even handle ballads (remember "Bedtime Story" and "Hold Me"?).I'm impressed with her vocals on this new album.

If u close your eyes whilst listening to ' Who I am now ' she sounds like Nicole Scherzinger. My favourite Sheila song is ' The Belle of St Mark '. It never gets old.

Dont like the song. Is she singing this 2 prince?? And i think she exagerated her boob job.... A pity... She looks like the stereotype plastic american star nowadays... But well.... As long as she is happy.

Who could forget working with Prince? I appreciate her message and video. Her voice is insync with the music. Really, how would it sound if she sang with bass in her voice ? The gurl was badd in the 80's and has just gotten better with time. Rock On Miss Sheila E!

She has always incorporated her Mexican heritage Soul Salsa I just think too much of the Latin Jazz can make her sound average

I like the melody but not the key she's singing it in. And that dress...is awful. But, I've been listening to her version of Richard Marx's "Right Here Waiting" and I'm really loving it.

I love the theme of this song...the message. She's reflecting on her life, soul searching and revealing a new side of herself...the person she is now. It's something that we should all do,from time to time
