According to Funkenberry Jesse will be performing in Jan at yoshi's in Oakland

does anybody have any real reliable information on this?

Never seen him live. Love to see him live in NYC. He played last time in 2012, but didn't know he was playing. Looks like he played in LA in Nov.

I believe he was going to play Yoshi's but with the D'Angelo stuff now getting going that will be put on the back burner as playing/touring with D'Angelo will get JJ more money than playing solo. Jesse did tell people after he played in Los Angeles last month that he would be playing Yoshi's but no date was set. There was about 10-15 of us there when he said that.

Yes. I was not the only one he told. Some wackadoodle on Funkenberry's fan page is saying she talked to Jesse n said Jesse never said it. He did say it to several of us. My guess is the D'Angelo release changed everything and Jesse was doing side-gigs without letting D's management know and since things are going down, better to deny than say anything else.
