they didn't really play "Niki" ... Greg Boyer made a solo where he played a couple of bars... but it was a great show indeed...!!!
the full set list is at the new french site for Maceo, www.maceo.fr and seems to be pretty accurate,,, Maceo also played lots of songs from his new album, which was great

but behind bruno speight's searing guitar solo in "baby knows", they did play a bit of "let's work"

oops 7th P... missed that!
well spotted, you must be one of those people who listens out for what Greg Boyer is gonna do in his solos, bit of a joker, always fun...which is partly what I love about these shows, listen a bit deeply and it's never the same, by the way Maceo seemed seering on sax that night (2nd night)

there's too much to miss by focusing on one or two players.
but if you've ever been to more than one show, it's interestion to see what's gonna happen when greg sings 'charlie brown'...!!

and why is the horns, vocals, bass side of the stage always laughing/playing/giggling, about, well, who knows what?

yes, a lot going on... always fun too... but I could do without too much of that guy in the wig... he's always pointing and looking a bit strange... !
