94 East - 10:15 & Fortune Teller Has anyone else bought the new 94 East CD.
I had no intention on buying it at all. Until I saw a copy of it at Electric Fetus. You know how it is.. u see the name "PRINCE" on the cover of a CD adn it isn't in the collection at home...so.. I took a chance. The CD isn't very spectacular, but its not bad either. I'm also quite surprised how I'll just go to the stereo and throw the disc in.. guess its a bit growing on me. For now that is. The music on the whole CD kinda reminds me of those artists on mp3.com who list Prince as their inspiration or whatever. I'd say if u see it pick it up, but I wouldn't go outta my way to get the CD. Just curious what u all thought of the new 94East release.

I am digging it. Also, check out this weekend my interview with 94 East. Very very interesting and funky. Minneapolis Music Month in March on the

I bought the CD and it blows. It isnt even as good as the first round of old ass Prince tapes that they doctored up and released back in the late 80s. To put Prince's name in the largest print on the cover and boast some guitar part that he supposed played is as cheesy as it gets. One of the songs doesnt even have a guitar part but is credited to Prince.
