I liked the radio remix much better than the album version.

Although IMO, C+C Music Factory totally destroyed "Droppin' Like Flies" when they remixed it for the radio, which could have & should have been a huge hit for her.

It may be her best album (inculding the ones), an underrated gem really.

I always liked it (bought it back in 91) but really rediscovered it last year and realized how brilliant it was.

on this album,my favorite song is "Whatcha Gonna Do" this song was originally done by latin rock band Azteca in the early 70s (Sheila's father Pete was a member),but Sheila changed some of the lyrics and turned it into an excellent latin pop song.This should have been a single,imo.

I never understood why the remixed Sex Cymbal wasn't used for the single, the album version sounds bland. Even the video featured a part of the remix. The SC version of "Funky Attitude" is also not as good as the Ford Fairlane version.

I agree that the Sex Cymbal album s very good, but could have been better. My favourite song on the album is "Heaven", by the way, love it and a great song to close the album!

"Cry Baby" is another standout track from the album.It's the most Prince-like song on the album.They released it as the third single,but didn't bother to promote it in anyway

^YES to all three points... also, the Funky Attitude video was sexy as hell!
