Andre Cymone any good? Was Andre Cymone any good as a bass player compared to later bassists in Prince's bands? Pepe Willie has said that Andre was just as talented as Prince but was this really true live? | |

For real? Now I confess to being a huge fan but I think it is safe to say that he pretty much put down the groundwork for everything we know and love that is bass in Prince's music. He is a phenomeonal bass player and I WISH he would pick up the bass in the live shows he is doing now. When he did grab the bass for a brief spin in Minneapolis at Bobby Z's event last year the whole thing went to a whole other level. | |
